I think the way he hid his face for 96% of the fight explains why he has no scars. It really looked like all he wanted to do was survive and win his portion of the money. I dont believe he had any other strategy than that. He was all smiles when it was over. I am sure he made enough to make him a rich man in his country and if the promoters were willing to waste money on him he was not the one to question their generosity.

You mean the people who paid the PPV fees to watch the fight over cable? I think Manny is popular enough at this point that people would pay to watch him fight my grandmother,

Yes, I agree....it was a non-event. Pretty boring....Pacman got his victory and Clottey got his bucks....Likely made enough for a nice retirement....and sure acted like he's ready for it. Oh well, big payday for the Pacquiao political war-chest. If Estrada can make President....LOL (at least 15% of Filipinos still haven't figured out he was a mega-crook)....Pacman may as well fit out a room at Malacanang for his gym...he's got it when he wants it....

I see Richard Gordon, the only candidate with some (that's some - wouldn't want to over-emphasize it) substantiated anti-corruption form, is on 2 percent. Says a lot for the Filipino voter.

    Clotty was a contender

Yes Clotty had a good payday , but im sure he went into the fight thinking that he had a chance against the Pacman . It probably only took him about 1 to 2 minutes of the first round before he figured out Pacman's speed was too much for him and then it was just a matter of survival . No he didnt have a scratch on his face , but he never uncovered it because he was smart enough to know that it was a matter of being knocked out or not . Simple as that . Pacman did an exceptional job on a man that was bigger than him, in every way , and threw more punches in each and every round, that no other boxer has ever done . 1231 punches . Thats approx. $10,000.00 USD for every punch thrown . GO PACMAN , from one of his biggest fans ! ! ! ! And yes i bought the fight .

And Clottey was the man that received each of those punches so he gets an accolaid as the most punced boxer in one match, wonder what that comes out to for him each punch?
