⌛ Won't be dining at La Residencia again

We eat there alot..today I ordered the turkey for P280 and it was horrible. They'd buried it in gravy (always a bad sign) but it was still pathetic.

I asked for a discount since I could only force down half of it, and was offered all of 28 PISOS by the woman at the front register!

I left it on the counter saying there's plenty of places to eat in Dgte and walked out..

 

Made the mistake of booking a room there years ago. I see their standards haven't changed. Stepped on a dead lizard on the floor and some of the drinks in the minibar were off. Food wasn't great, either.

 

I'm going to see the ombudsman today about a refund..

 

A lot of hassle for 280p

 

This comes off as more of a positive review of the place than a bad one (you eat there a lot.) I can deal with the occasional crappy meals and bad service from places I regularly eat at. For sure, 280 peso's isn't enough for me to scratch those places off my list.

 

i know but i understand how they feels, they're just frustrated.
