    sounds like a scam

Why are they asking money for visa application? Have they interviewed you? Have they told you will get the job? Until you're certain you got the job, and a contract has been presented to you & signed by both the employer and you, I wouldn't sent them a penny. In most cases, you'll need to have a legitimate working contract BEFORE any country would grant you a (working) visa.

Illegal recruiting has been running rampant in the Philippines the last two years. If they are asking for money, chances are it is NOT legit!

    Hello christ

i am working abroad and i never experienced any kind of money transaction because the employer wants to apply visa for you. This is a no! no! Even from my brother who is directly hired from the company. The company has to cover the expenses for your visa when you want to work abroad. Okay! Please be careful on taking jobs online. If you want you can apply thru agencies. Please check poea website for registered agency and also jobs are there. Ok! I hope this might help.

If they're asking you money for visa application, it's a scam for sure.
    Here are some tips:

Legit companies usually use company emails. not the free one (@ymail.com, @yahoo.com, @gmail.com)

Check the company's website if it really exist.
