⌛ Some exuberant praise for your lady,

I have often told my friends that if it were not for the challanges of expat living I would probably have alzheimers or just be dying from boredom.
Having to cope with a foreign lanquage helps as well.
I am no longer sure I am fit financially, socially, or emotionally for life in the west.

 

Only my opinion, if you want to hitch with a girl.

1) if you are educated, and he or she is not, there is something f king wrong.
2) if you are old, and he or she is young, there is something wrong.
3) if you are ugly, and he or she is beautiful, there is somting f@#in wrong.
4) if you have money, and he or she has not, there is something fkin wrong.
5)If you are too big, and he or she is too small, there is something wrong.
But thats only my opinion, and I could be wrong..

 

Amen to that.. there they call you SIR,look at you like god,the savior, the provider, the gifted one. etc. the feeling you havent feel anywhere else. And you are Doped to that feeling, and make you unsure how to make life in the west....

I don't know...think there is some truth in gmc's observations. I have noticed over the years that the greater the obvious disparities...the less successful long term. That said - know many that have gone for decades - or till the very end...but they tended to have some characteristics in common...ie age...education...height....appearance...Not the money though LOL...

Of course, I could be fkin wrong...

 

Sounds a bit like my mothers advice:
Marry someone of the same/similar: race, age, color, religion, wealth, social standing, education, language..................
Naturally I did the opposite, now I'm single :o

 

I am glad I don't have to settle for someone who is as fat as I am, as ugly as I am, as old as I am, and who thinks living on my pension puts us in the lap of luxury.

Of course that's just my opinion.

 

Or you could be very right. Everyone is wrong for much of their lives anyways, you might as well be having fun in the process.

For the record, I'm not old or fat. Ugly is debatable. :D
