Yes after my ATM question,i have not forgot to say i will be coming next week.
So any advise reguarding Banks, and of course opening one!! would be great.
And as i have not got a new map of Dumaguete,would i be able to find a good Pharmacy ?

You want to open a Bank??!! Pharmacies are everywhere here. Good? That is a matter of opinion.

Yes I am keeping my options open
But its more than likely the only bank i will be opening is a Piggy bank.
At least it must have made you laugh, I am mutitasking at the moment !!

That's a keen eye you have, I concur on the pharmacies through
it always has me baffled why the same Company does not carry the same stock,

 

a lot of pharmacies are owned by doctor groups and they get a bigger kick back to handle some brands . i find crown pharmacy to have a wide range at a good price

Generics Pharmacy

Speaking of pharmacies.....the new Generics Pharmacy is now open on V Locsin. We used them in Manila and were very pleased with prices compared to the other pharmacies. We use a lot of Benadryl (diphenhydramine), and the cheapest we found it here at other pharamcies was about 14-17 php each; at the Generics Pharmacy we can get them for 1.40-1.70 php each (depending on strength).

 

Cheers folks for the info, as i will be needing things like Ventolin ( sabutomol ), and Clenil ( beclometasone ) so i will be looking around for them.

Meds

Speaking from experience....my husband has severe COPD/emphysema....get your Ventolin at the Generics Pharmacy, and the Beclomethasone is listed as QVAR inhaler at Mercury Drug, but not sure if they carry in stock. I can inquire for you and have them order it before you arrive if you need. Let me know!! But, for more common meds, check with the Generics Pharmacy first, then go to the more expensive pharmacies for what they don't have.
