Maybe a little seminar on human relations will make everything all right.

I recently went into Y Not the other day and my only complaint is that I found it impossible to get drunk. After the first drink the waitress was nowhere to be found. All alcohol had processed through my liver before I got another drink. This is pretty much standard for every bar/restaurant in Dumaguete though. I will be bringing some string next time I go out to eat and tying it around my waitress! I want to get drunk, the size of your tip directly relies on how fast that happens. If I don't get drunk in a timely manner you get no tip, wala drunk, wala tip, understand?

It was Coyotes, closed since 1.5 years no Black Pearl on the south highway lust before the City limit.
I would know another place where this is possible, well at least for a few selected guests... :D

    Rizal boulevard

Now and than I go to Rizal blvd in the afternoon sit on the terrace @ Why Not and drink a beer. Mij favorite Cerveza Negra. It's generally known that the majority of business in The PH shows a lack of interest for their costumers, Why Not is not making an exception to this rule. Since Friday, Oct. 22, my favorite beer is, up till date, no longer available. If you ask for explanation, the answer is the usual bullshit: because, because, because. Striking that for instance Mamia, Chin Loong, Gaby's bistro still have when you order. Must have been supplied by a brewery form outer space I suppose...??? So yesterday, when CN @ WN still not available I went next door, Annabel. And yes, they got it. Though I am not a frequent visitor of that place I know very well the price of a beer. When I asked for the bill, much to my surprise, they charged me 65 pesos. Asking for explanation; the answer new price went up. Yes and so did my temper. Told the guy to call the manager or who's ever in charge and told him I just paid for the regular 40 pesos a bottle. Added, it's also the final bottle of beer i will ever buy in this place coz from now will avoid it like it ever has excisted. The table next to me sat 3 expats (regular visitors) who were also enjoying a beer, I asked them about the price of a bottle of beer. Guess twice what's the answer: 40 pesos. Well, another very effective example how to get rid of customers.

dont they have a menu that has a price list on all the beverages? For me, i should have ask for it. On the other side of it, maybe they possible gave u the wrong bill. Im not protecting the bar, just maybe their was another side of it. So for me, i would ask for the menu.

    Cheers!

It was obviously they tried to ripp me, thinking I was a tourist passing by and not a local expat. If the bill was correct they would have shown me the price list. By correcting the bill without further comments it is clear it was not a mistake. Besides, as told in my previous posting, three other expats sitting there confirmed the price of a bottle of beer was still 40 pesos.
