    :rolleyes: Well it should have BEEN there will always be an England but not to be so I was singing Viva Espania tonight. Out go Portugal Renoldo and all, 1 - 0 to SPAIN. Maybe just maybe they can do the job and keep the final to Europe with Germany.:eek:

    Uruguay-Ghana quarter final
    Well, just watched the match and Ghana should of won 2-1 but they missed the penalty at the end of extra time and then beaten in the shoot-out......:o

    Another incredible finish!!! Tough loss for Ghana as they outplayed Uruguay in the extra time...is this the new and latest "Hand of God"? That Uruguaian player will be a national hero for a handball!!

    Yep. Hard luck on Ghana, they exceeded all expectations and if there was any real justice they would have won. But the Holland-Brazil game was a humdinger. Jellyfish should be doing summersaults and backflips !!!!! Hope the Argentina-Germany game later today lives up to the expectations. The only thing England have left in the World Cup is a referee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    well, not that 4:0 is very clear, I just watched an interview where a german player said: "Argentina is a great team, we just wanted to stuff Maradonas big mouth..."

    Well, I guess he has to chew on that for a while... better back to drugs and alcohol, at least you are really familiar with that, Diego...

    don't take me wrong, I just never liked the "hand of God", I prefer honest work and if somebody want to win, he has to score at least 1 single goal, doesn't he ?

    Those german kids are just so nice to watch and even if they fly home as fourth, there will be a huge welcome back in Germany, and they all deserve it :-)

    I'm really looking forward to sunday july 11th when Holland has to play against Germany. But first Germany has to beat Spain of course.

    I did know and saw that Germany has a good team , but after Gemany- Argentina I know it will be very difficult for us (HOLLAND) to beat that team.
    And they did that with very good and clean football and I am sorry to say , they diserve to be in the final and I am looking forward to it.
    I did like every minute of that came ,very solid, fast and suprising football.
    On the other hand it took to long before Holland start to play like they can but hope that thuesday they will win from Uruguay and will meet Germany in the final.
    And hope that the best team win the cup.
