⌛ Introducing .... Me

Hi everyone.
Well i have been reading this website forum for some time now and i like what i read very much so i decided to enroll with you all. I hope to be moving to the phillipines as soon as my house is sold.have been looking around the web on the different locations and cities over there, i have been to only just a few yet so not decided where is best for us to live. the more i read about Dumagette the more i want to come and see for myself. So thats a brief intro and im hoping to find out lots more and hope to join in with forums on this website. Thanks for having me.So looking forward to being there. I will try not to ask to many questions because there is so much info on this website but there`s always input needed and it is easier if someone is living there to give there points of view. Sorry my spelling of your town, so bad of me to get it wrong and i so wanted to get it all right for the first time posting...oh well... Dumaguete it should have read. bob.

And of course a very warm welcome to the forum (yep - very warm here in the Netherlands at the moment, phew).

Take time to browse the forum and I am sure you can find a lot tips and ways to finding your way in the city and the surrounding cities/provincies.

 

Hi Bob, big welcome to you. I'm in a similar position to you and similar age. Just waiting to off-load my house and fly south. Can't wait to go, even more so now that we've got rid of one lot of numptys in Westminster and replaced them with a can of worms !!!!

Don't get old, don't get sick and keep working till you're at deaths door. More people than ever now are leaving the country and you can't blame them.

You'll find a whole heap of useful information on this Forum, but you can always ask a specific question and someone somewhere will probably offer a sensible answer. Good luck with your intended move.

i'm sure you will love Dumaguete as it is a nice friendly place, i'm from the UK Oxford im still here now but i a'm going back over later this month, i have a wonderful Fiance there.Maybe see you there sometime.

Spelling of Dumaguete is correct now but it is a city, not a town.
Welcome anyway.

 

Both is universally accepted as Dumaguete is also called a "university town".
