    Where's the best place to watch the games in Dumaguete ? Preferably somewhere with a large screen and cold beer that stays open all night.

    I'm in UK at the moment so I don't know for sure, but there is a good chance that Terry will be showing the matches at Happy Freds on the Boulevard. Good luck.

    Thanks mate. Can anyone confirm this ? Jeez there's thousands of foreigners in Duma. Must be some football fans. Maybe they all bugger off home when happy hour finishes.

    HF's, all games shown, normally, till the last whistle. BikerDave's internationally acclaimed burgers and betting odds on quite a few combinations of results too, (if that's your thing.):smile:

    I am not posting a lot, but an embarrassing experience at Happy Freds cant pass without mentioning.

    I am 43 my hubby is 48, as it is on this board, we went to that place to watch a football game. After the first half we left. We were totally scared of this aggressiveness and arrogant people there. That place is a shame for the boulevard in Dumaguete and we just can hope the new city administration does something against those kind of establishments.
    What a shame for the city of gentle people.

    @Maryfee

    Are you talking about the staffs themselves or the visitors/customers in the place?

    I have one thing about their staffs, though! Few years ago my ex went there with a few of his mistresses and the bar girls were so happy to announce to one of the girls, 'oh you so are much so good looking than the wife! The wife so UGLY...!'

    Well, I considered that very personal though it hurt BUT being served a very bitter coffee, having the pot standing on the heated plate of the coffee-maker for hours? That I can not forgive them, haha. I did get a new freshly brewed one, but I first have to complain, and then they argued for a while that it was 'fresh' and one of the girls was even having a hard time setting the coffee.

    Aside from teaching them a little good manners, they should be taught how to see when a coffee is old or not!
