Your choice to go in and your choice to leave. People everywhere get excited with sporting events; it's not aggression - it's called enthusiasm.
Last November I watched Manny Pacs fight in Whynot and was surrounded by very excited Filipinos who fought every round with him. Other than me, I didn't see another white guy there, but I didn't feel threatened and I entered into the spirit of things with them ( particularly as I have been a boxing referee since 1982) :D

Happy Freds is not one of "those establishments", and the amount of people that call in there just proves how popular it is. In HF's I have met local business men, ex-pats with local businesses, Dumaguete medical professionals, former U.S. marines, retired British military officers, and a whole cross-section of humanity from a variety of countries. Would you say that those kind of people are low-life using an unsavoury establishment ???

Or is it just a case of you don't like something, so you feel that no-one else should like it either, your own choices and standards being the yardstick by which everyone else should measure theirs??? I'm a beer, scotch, gin and red wine drinker - I can't even stand the smell of brandy, but I don't advocate that no-one else should drink it just because I don't like it. :D

Being titeled as Nazis and told to p*ss off by some boldhead british idiots has nothing to do with being a softy. We are a not even europeans.

Maybe you are one of this low-life scum, Jimeve.

There is a big diference between watching a box-fight with enthusiastic Filipinos who respect other people joining them and being surruonded by drunk aggressive english people who very obviously want to cause trouble.

We are in Dumaguete twice each year... That place is a scum-exhibition and a total shame for the Boulevard. Maybe you British Guys consider that normal and great, we don't.

We went to another place for the second half of the game (and yes Jimeve, 22 man playing and playing is considered a game) and had a good time with people who enjoyed watching football without giving stupid titles to people but having a good time together.
