⌛ Question !!!

i was reading the Entertainment life Threads and i came across thread saying under age girls as i was reading the reply's , i started to think this Question that cant find an answer to which is is there tourist protection against false accusations from these kind of people for example lets say you walk on the street and night life girls says to the police this guy did this and that . would they arrest you immediately or they looking to this girls record or protect you or what exactly .?

There is no such thing like tourist protection anywhere in the world if you do something wrong.

 

i don't want to do anything with underage girls im not that type of a person .and im talking bout night girls in general who are all over the streets looking for customers , i want to know if the laws here can protect forginers against scams and scandals as many forginers were set up and didn't do anything about it . my post is only to ask if there's protection or laws against it . hope now its clear

 

Laws to protect? Not really, it is "buyer beware" or tourist take care. I have been in country's where first you are dragged into an alley and beaten up and then the Police "rescue" you and take you to their jail. Sometimes it does not pay to be curious or too daring.

 

In order for a legitimate case to be filed in the Philippines, the victim would need to first hire an attorney (and usually an investigator) to develop and file a case. (It is not the government which brings cases here as in most Western countries.) So, if ever a lady of the night was making an allegation and the police were to pick up a tourist, it is virtually guaranteed that the tourist has been set-up in a conspiracy between the lady and the police.

Bascially, the police will only bother you, if 1) Someone is paying them to do it, or 2) They think they can make money from you by intimidating you.

There is no tourist police (like the ones in Thailand which is maybe what you are thinking of) to protect tourists here.

 

If you are not wanting anything from these Girls, WHY? are you on the Streets on your own in that particular area in the First place?

it happen to me few years back when i 1st visted manila it was in makkati i was walking and girl approch me saying masage sir and i kept saying now and i think she got mad and started shouting i call police i call police , i got scared and gave her 2000 pesos so she leave me alone
