Maybe because it is flat and thin and square just like a stamp? Like a post stamp?

Hope this could answer this riddle, haha (hey - ask your aunt...!).

Hahaha !!! Thanks josephen! That's a very good analogy of STAMPTOP.

Yes, Mr. Dale Law, was my English teacher in college for literature. Every 3 o'clock in the afternoon (MWF), we tackle Oedipus Rex by Sophocles, from the deadly pestilence to the stabbing out of the eyes. Whew! Geeze! I can't even recall if I've passed the subject or not! For those 1-hour periods, my mind is just wondering who could be the people in the net right now squabbling someone just for fun. Hehehe. The NET I’m referring to was the HAM Radio thru VHF frequencies. 147.99 KHz was the frequency where every amateur radio enthusiasts in Dumaguete were tuned into. Contributing comments and remarks to the controller, who also was delivering current events, from recent gags to whose-the-girlfriend-of-who.

Am I talking about my age?? hehehe....yeah forums were not yet known those times. But even though computers were running on Windows 3.11, there already was email and messaging...UNLIMITED AND FREE!!! Thanks to Packet Radio.
