. Please look up the meaning of extortion in webster dictionary and understand what extortion really is.

i dont know what dictionary you borrowed but the legal definition of extortion is.

the use or the implicit threat of the use,of violence or other criminal means to harm a person, reputation or property as a means to obtain property from someone with his consent.

you could also look up the hobbs act if you want to do a thesis on it

The meaning of extortion according to GOVONER.......
extortion is the demanding of money under duress or an implied threat of violence.
The use or the implicit threat of the use,of violence or other criminal means to harm a person, reputation or property as a means to obtain property from someone with his consent.

GOVONER, parking your bike at Robinson's has absolutely nothing to do with extortion.
The reason is that the parking attendants NEVER ask you for any money upfront. For guys like yourself who wants everything in life for free and never offer to pay any thing for service can leave Robinson's without any pay or problems. An attendant have never demanded any money from me when parking or picking up my bike at Robinson,s. It is all on a voluntary basis, that is why I GLADLY PAY 10 PESOS. . The attendant recognize me every time and they handle my bike with care. Have you ever heard the expression; NO MONEY, NO HONEY......
OPEN YOUR WALLET MAN AND DO SOME GOOD, if not, Go HOME stay HOME and count your
P1's.....and NEVER SHARE, you sleep better that way. Guys like you get it in the end.....IT IS GOING TO BE HARD. I will pray for you!

    Go with the flow...

Exactly Jack, that's what I've been telling my foreign friends about the drugs, prostitution, pollution, discrimination, cheats, corruption, and Abu Sayyaf.

LTO huh? I suppose I can share some of my profits....after all, I will have to assume they're trying to feed their family too.

Right on Mr. MalmoMan!! You're exactly the type of foreigners welcomed here...if only all the visiting foreigners are like you. Without your 5 pesos I really don't know how else these people are going survive. God forbid they might not be able to buy load. And the rest of you cheapskates, you better stay home because nothing is free here, not even the air you breathe....everything has it's price & we have just up the price of minding your bike to 10p....and with that, we'll throw in a prayer or two for you:D

I can't believe with all the things to see and do in Negros Oriental, somebody would waste time from their valuable lives to wail, whine and complain about parking lot attendants.

And force somebody else to waste their precious time setting him and the record straight with an enlightened retort.

That is all, carry about smartly.

Thank you Sir! After 35 years in Sweden and 30 years in California I moved with my filipina wife to HER HOME COUNTRY, The Philippines. I have travelled most countries in Europe and most States in The US, Mexico and South America, and I have never asked or received anything for FREE. Downtown Los Angeles parking garage cost from $2 and up per hour. Why shouldn't I pay 10 pesos for parking at Robinson's? I can park there 5 minutes or all day long for the same price. To me it is very cheap and it does good for the attendants to earn pesos so they can support family and kids. The guy who call himself GOVONER (I am happy for his spelling) is not a GOVERNOR of anything. He is just a cheap man trying to get all for FREE.
I will gladly ask all foreigners for a donation of money, so we can send him home on a one-way ticket, but only if he signs a promisary note saying "I PROMISE TO NEVER RETURN TO THE PHILIPPINES".
I love Philippines because MY HEART is here, well adjusted and enjoy every moment of what we are doing here. HAPPINESS COMES FROM WITHIN and YOUR LOVED ONES! HAPPY TO BE A PROUD RESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES!
