⌛ dumaguete trip: apo-bais-siquijor

Hello!

anyone who could help me plan about my trip to dumaguete on Aug 15-17 2010. Below is my IT:
Day 1
0830H Arrival Dumaguete airport
day tour in Apo Island
Spend the night in Dumaguete
Day2
0700H head to Bais for dolphin watching
Manjuyod Sand Bar
1500H Return to dumaguete city and start for Siquijor
Day3
0800H-1200H Siquijor day tour
ferry back to dumaguete
1625 Departure to Manila

what do u think guyz? thanks! i really dont know if I could do all the 3 trips for my sched is very tight.. i think 3d2n isnt enuf so i have to drop 1..but i dont know what it would be..:( I need your help. thanks!

 

That is a pretty tough schedule but doable.
I certainly would skip the 4 hours siquijor tour and would spend a half day in or around Dumaguete.

 

Good Idea, save Siquior for when you can stay all night.

If you're inclined rent a bike and tour Duma. lots of things to see there.

Cant wait till I move so I can really tour the Island. right after I find a place to live

mayb i'll just go back some other time for the siquijor trip.. its just d feelin of bein there where siquijor is just 1-2hrs away by ferry..:( well i just hope i could see dolphins in my bais trip.. read blogs sayin theyr visible in mid aug too though weather still unpredictable..

any suggested place to visit in dumaguete city? Also, where good food is.

btw i really love this site.. very cool

 

Dolphins are visible all around the year but more from march to early sept. My best trips were in August where the Tanon Strait is usually flat like a mirror.

I would start much earlier for the Dolphin trip like 5 or 5:30.

Dumaguete City Sightseeing
Sightseeing Around Dumaguete
Negros Oriental Sightseeing

Food, many options, always depends on taste and budget, everything in Duma is almost in walking distance and you won't leave hungry.

 

Like what the others say, the sched to siquijor is tight. also Hard to do Apo on first day upon arrival. You have to travel almost an hour by bus (if not pre arranged personal transport )from the airport to where you get the boat ride. then one hourboat ride to Apo island... hope the weather cooperates as the rains would be starting then. Anyway welcome...

 

Hmm.. sounds bad..as the weather now isn't that good for sea travels.. but we'll see.. anyway, just want to ask also that given these 3 places - apo, bais/manjuyod, siquijor - which one should i really skip?

where will i also ride bus going to apo?
