I got a phonecall from Sky Internet this morning. They are asking for our support to help push the management in Manila to increase the Internet Speed in Negros oriental.
All of you reading this and have Sky Internet please send e-mail to Anie_Alasas@yahoo.com and let her know how you feel about the very slow connection we are having here in Dumaguete. She will furnish all e-mails to the Big Guys in Manila. Let's fight for a 2 up to 3 Megabits/sec speed.
E-mail can also be sent directly to the Manager at ATTabaco@skycable.com
According to the Management in Dumaguete they have the equipment needed for a higher speed. They just have to connect it. WHEN, is the question.

I have been in contact with Anie at Sky, Dumaguete since January of this year. Sky Cable offer a very low speed Internet Service max 1MegaBits/sec.
I have complained about the inconesistency in the speed and they lowered my rate from P1499 to P999. Sky speed goes as low as 0.5 MegaBits/sec and as high as 0.97 MegaBits/sec. Sky's speed in Dumaguete is some of the lowest in the world and therefore I have asked them when we can expect speeds like in Cebu and Manila.

Thanks for supporting Sky Cable Dumaguete and a higher speed.

South Korea have the highest speed in the world....Amazing.
Look at the world's ISP's at this website.

I know that Globe offer 1.5, but they are very inconsistent and every afternoon we have no signal from Globe where I live.......Hard to watch any movies or live sport and on line games, because there broadband is very tiny.

Support Sky Cable Internet Service......Changes may come soon. Thanks!

I think the employees at Skycable dumaguete aren't doing their home work. They should check what their competitor is been offering long time ago. And push the big boss to wake up.

    My globe 3mbps plan

Another disadvantage of sky when its blackout their internet is also out. With globe I can still use my net for 3 hour backup laptop battery + 2hrs+ in my ups.

You could always email Sky the above image and let them know this is what the competition has, why can't they do better??! :D

How much do you pay per month for Globe 3 Mbits/sec, if I may ask?
