me and my 3 girl friends will visit dumaguete on august 31,what is the last ferry trip from bato to dumaguete?or is it safe if we arrive there at 1 am?just a little concern because we are all girls though.. thanks in advance:D
Hi Kath, If you go from Bato, you probably arrive in Tampi (20 -30 minutes north of duma downtown), not in Dumaguete. I would not say it is unsafe, but a bit far out. How do you get to Bato? the Bato Tampi way is used by ceres-liner on the Maayo Shipping inc. vessels., if you also use them , you do not even need to leave the Bus on the way to Dumaguete. departure times from each destination: 05:00/06:30/08:00/09:30/11:30/13:30/15:00/16:30/18:00/19:30/21:30/23:30
oh cool,i heard that there is a ferry from liloan bato to sibulan and its kind of near than tampi,we really want to be in dumaguete as early as possible on aug 31 for safety purposes, heheheh coz if we take cokaliong we will arrive at 1 am and all of us are first timers in dumaguete, hehehe but thanks though
There are also Ferries from Lilo-An to Sibulan and back. Pump boats and a Fast Craft doing this 25-30 minutes trip. The Fast Craft starts its hourly daily service in Lilo-An (Cebu) at 04:30h and leaves Sibulan (Negros) for the last trip in the evening at 20:00h. The Pump-Boats start their service at Lilo-An at 05:30h and also go each hour. They leave Sibulan with the last trip at 17:00h. ... at least something like that, so plenty of options. cheers Rhoody
If you want to take the fastcraft to Sibulan, make sure to take the Ceresliner in Cebu southterminal to Bato. Any other bus will leave you somewhere along the highway with a long walk to the ferry or brings you to the ferry going to Tampi
