this is probably a rather naive question i put here for people living in valencia for some time already. still, i wonder, are there sufficiant thirsty expats up in valencia to justify such a move?

i wonder what your comments might be, hey.

or is there already a watering hole there?

I don't live in Valencia but have several relatives that do. I believe maybe you can get 2-3 loyal customers but why would anyone go there when there is more to do and see at the boulevard? While Valencia is a nice rustic place to live, you don't go there for the night life for sure.

it's right, the boulevard offers more; i am just thinking that one may not be in such a great condition wanting to still drive upto valencia after having had a few too many

Anyway, thx for your reply; i am just searching for some idea what to do during my too much of spare time once i settled, hey.

maybe there are not sufficiant number of thirsty expats up there who like to go for a short draft and mingled with some like minded guys.

hey guys, we are working now for a restaurant and bar project in Valencia. It might open early next year as we are still on documentation process.
i will invite everyone for a round of chilled drinks and food tasting before we open to public..

 I am from valencia..and for the longest time, i lived in front of the three-term mayor's house...on some occasions, i have asked the ex-mayor why all stores are closed at 10 pm...

its a town ordinance...they have justified the fact that valencia is a residential town and they want to control peace and order...

when people are drunk, some put the liquor in their brains and not in the stomach...so in order for criminality and other unlawful behavior to take place, they control the establishments...it was agreed on a town session that all stores closes at 10 pm...those who would still open their stores after 10 pm might have their business permit revoked...

as for me, i think it is a good way to monitor peace and order..as they say, "prevention is better than cure"..might as well have that ordinance rather than have some crimes done...

though, i understand the frustration of those who wants to go out and drink at night...suggestion, u can buy the drinks ahead of time and stay in someone's residence and party.. provided that u arent that noisy..
