⌛ Problem with cellular phone

I recently purchased a Globe SIM and pre-paid plan at Lee Super Plaza. For some reason I am unable to call 7-digit numbers from this phone. Is there some trick that I don't know about? The message I get is "Sorry, this call is not permitted." I am able to call 11-digit numbers without issue. My number is 0927-666-XXXX if that helps... Thanks in advance for any assistance!

 

Calling a landline from a cellphone? Try to dial 035 than the 7 digit number.

 

It must be because of the number of the beast "666"... hehehe! anyway, manzanita is right. try to include the 3 digit area code

Yeah when I saw the 666 I couldn't help but think that the locals are going to send my phone in for a exorcism, hopefully not! :D

 

Just remember calling a landline from a cellphone usually costs mo p.

 

That seems a little backwards, but really I'm just happy to not have to sign a $100/month contract for 2 years like in the states.
