My pleasure. Good luck with the arrangements - hope you can find a dry spell for the ceremony.

Hopefully I will catch up with you later in the year and we can maybe reminisce of memorable days and best-forgotten marine nights in the old Victoria Club and China Fleet Club in Hong Kong. Forty years on and I've still got a hangover.!!!!!

Broadside, it would be my pleasure to have a few pints with you and reminisce about the days in Hong Kong with Suzie Wong :-) I hope you can make it back soon! Cheers

A big problem about the weather in Dumaguete is that there is no real forecast.
That little mountain behind us is the main reason for that, as it functions like a cloud magnet half of the year and the other half it protects us.

You can almost draw a line in Valencia where it is raining in the upper part and the lower part (and Dumaguete) is dry.

the same is valid if you drive south, just past DUCOMI (Bacong).

At this time of the year you can sit at the Boulevard and watch how it is pouring down in Cebu or Siquijor while Dauin and Apo Island has bright sunshine. This time a year you should look south towards Mindanao and the little hill behind. If dark clouds coming from there, be ready to get wet.

Just 3 weeks ago I skipped an appointment down the Boulevard cause it was raining since a couple of hours in Batinguel (10 minute drive). I called my client and he told me, no single drop at the Boulevard.

Anyway, I just merged the 2 threads, as you guys put up some great Info and links. thanks for that. Reputation given :-)

    cheers

    Rhoody
