    What a gem!

:D Claire! I am not sure what Pat will think about this item but I have to admit, it is the one thing I would not have thought about, You really are a GEM!

Pat! I remember now, they will ask her for what reason she needs the Clearence, Tell them immigration. It is the green one. The pink one is not good for travel.

    Here's hoping!

    Jack P.

    sir pato,

Also one thing since you are getting NSO certificate of her birth and your marriage contract. Then I suggest that you request atleast ten copy of NSO of her birth cert. and your marriage contract. Since in the philippines and even abroad every time you have to apply for something they always want the original copy. And for sure they will keep it for their office. I don't know how long it takes now in dgte. to get the NSO copy but for sure if you have them in the hand you will save time to keep going back and fort to NSO office. You can even ask also the NBI to give you two original copies of her NBI certificate. Though you need to pay twice. I my self had alot of copies and now I just have one remaining of my marriage cert.

    Sir jack,

For what my husband and me had to go through I would say I learned alot. Just hoping to help somebody. oohh for sure we sweat blood during those times. And now seems we will have to go through again. ha ha what a beautiful life. But the most important is that we are doing all this labor for our love. Becuase we want to stay with each other. And at the end of the day there is nothing for free. But for sure all this effort is worth of it.

Larry, Jack, Claire, thank you kindly for the helpful advice. The NBI id is a good idea Claire. I will attend with Crislyn, if we can get the ideas to be able to attend.
Larry, regarding getting a drivers license in Bais, do you know if they make you take a driving and written test?
Jack, misery loves company, ha ha. Having lived in Makati 3 years I knew of the bureacracy but more corruption there, sometimes you could 'buy' your way through things. I know it is bad to support a corrupt system but believe me, if I could have paid through the back door to get some of this stuff done here I would have done it in a New York minute! Your Spain paperwork story had me and Crislyn ROFL. Thanks

No driving test for sure, and I think they overlook the written test there too. We will know for sure in the next week or so, unless you want to go along.

As for Claire's NBI clearance idea, that is a good suggestion. However, chances are not much at all that you will be allowed into the CFO seminar.

Larry, I wonder if there is a requirement that my wife has to have her student permit 6 months or longer? If not, the approach sounds terrific and maybe we would tag along. Thanks for the invite.

Just checked the LTO internet site, states student permit must be at least one month old, she got hers last week.
