    Hi one and all
I’m after information in regards buying an owner type jeepney in Dumaguete or Manila.
my apologies if this has been discussed in the past but have found no reference in my searches.
I have been told that vehicles are much cheaper in Manila and that if your prepared to drive them down to Dumaguete there are considerable savings to be made.
I have found the information in regards the route to Dumaguete via the marine highway.
I have friends in Manila who can assist in the paper work in Manila etc
I would appreciate any helpful information
    Thank you

Good info. Buyer beware, no matter where the vehicle is offered for sale, but I would not agree with the use of the word "all", as in "all vehicles in Manila have been submerged." Some maybe, possibly even a large percentage, but not "all".

    I would try here:

Buy and Sell Philippines - Sulit.com.ph Online Classified Ads

Autolink.ph - Car Classified Ads, Used Cars for sale Philippines, Second hand Cars, Car dealer

So you plan to drive down the nautical highway from manila to dumaguete in an owner type jeep. You know, most of those vehicles are non airconditioned, and assembled in less than stellar shops. That trek involves driving down the lenght of Mindoro, Panay, and Occidental Negros. Not to mention your trip from manila to batangas. I love driving, but that is one trip I wouldn't do in an owner type jeep. I'm sure you can find suitable ones in dumaguete or cebu.

My driver and a co-pilot made the land-sea drive non-stop in 32 hours bringing my car down here, he was a zombie when he arrived. He said the hiway is not good in certain places like in Panay.

    Hi
Thanks for all your feedback, its helping to build a plan.

Q: If all the concerns that have been raised can be mitigated is there a larger enough price difference and availability of good vehicles to warrant the exercise?
