⌛ Cebu Hotel Recommendation?

I always stay at the Cest La Vie Pension House. 5 minute walk from Fuente Roundabout, Take the turning at National bookstore. Rooms are large, clean, aircon, sat tv, wi-fi. P800 a night. ( Get a room at the back just incase of traffic noise ) If not suiable Casa Rosario is a 1 minute walk, just around the corner.

 

I have not been to Cebu in a few years but when I was there I always stayed at the Cebu Grand Hotel Decent prices and rooms and I always enjoyed the breakfast that was included with the room pricing

 

Maykoppa, thank you for the recommendation. I had a look at it on the internet, nice place. However, the rates are higher and given I need a room for my in-laws as well I will settle for the recommended Casa Rosario Pension House. Thanks.

Hello Jack, Why do you ask that The security was normal one guy with a pistol, same as other hotel/pension.

Jim! I not really sure why I asked :o We were talking generally about Pat and the CFO. Azon was recalling the trip she made for the same reason, When I read out aloud about this Thread, Azon said that she Thought, that this was the Hotel/Pension a woman she had met whilst waiting, had Stayed at. She told Azon that She and here Daughter were a little Frightened by the weight of Security there. I think maybe I asked the Question a little awkwardly, Sorry if I have raised a few eyebrows!:o

We stayed there also several times. It is ok to me.
Not too far from the Robinson- area
One thing I always dislike there: it takes hrs (nearly :D) to get your simple breakfast there.
Even when you are the only guest sitting in the 'restaurant'.
I know I know I know.....that's a very comon complaint here by foreigners
So....I won't take breakfast anymore there but somewhere outside.
