Okay, need some quick answers you guys!! My brother in law and his wife are arriving in the morning from Manila (they are visiting from California), and they want to go have breakfast. We don't usually eat breakfast out, so don't have a clue where to go. Where is the best place for breakfast (I refuse to take them to McDonald's!!), Bogarts? Does Why Not serve breakfast? How about Casablanca? Any suggestions...please!! Thanks!!

I love breakfast at Why Not. They open at 6 am except Sundays. On Sundays they have a breakfast buffet starting at 7 am.

Another consistently reliable choice for breakfast is the restaurant at Filamena Homes, which is also out your way. I'm terrible at names but it is the road which leads from the National Highway east towards the sea at Saint Paul University. The entrance to the golf course is on the left and the Filamena complex is further along to your right. My wife says it is E J Blanco. We find the breakfast to be very restoring. That's the whole idea, non?

Do you mean Florentina homes on Rovira road or cafe Filomena at Bethel guesthouse (boulevard)?

    Florentina Homes

The gentleman who was driving all of us wanted to go to Mamia's, but, there was such a hard downpour that aside from using a rowboat, there was no way to get into the restaurant without wading in 8 inches of water. So, he then decided to go Florentina Homes, and we were not disappointed this is where we ended up!! The breakfast was wonderful AND inexpensive. We cannot wait to go again and try some of the dinner options!!
