⌛ Srilankan food

I have looked as we go along the beach and wonder has anyone tried Zanzibars and where is it ??

Zanzibar is just around the corner of Chin Loong, across Sans Rival.

hile it was supposed to be a restobar, it developed into a Party Hell... at least that is what my stomach and head tells me while I am typing that.

In the early evening 6 - 8, I drop there there once in a while to have a curry. While I love it, I heard from others that they are not that much into it.

Andrew the owner is a swiss-srilankian, lived long time in the states and just a good guy to say "hi"

 

my wife says that everybody wears slippers there instead of high heels and therefore the place is not to her liking

 

well, than certainly Dumaguete is the total wrong place for her... or actually the Philippines

 

well, she is phillipina; when I told her your reply, she said 'ah it's not me, it's what the foreigners say on facebook'

 

nah... just dancing on a bar with slippers just does not look right (that's what the foreigner on Facebook said.. )

Ah thanks for that Rhoody, So now we know where it is we can check it out.
Have a look at the menu and try it as we have lived in Sri Lanka and i make a Mango Chutney from an old original grandmas recipe of a dear friend. And my hubby cooks her Chicken Curry, so we can see how good it is.

Narupa....would you care to pass along your recipe for mango chutney..( I lost my moms and since she is 89,maybe she forgot some things haha)......lets see,mango,onion,raisen,peppers,ginger,cinnamon,clove,corriander,vinegar??????
