I'm back in So Cal at the moment, and even though I've seen the water company name on the bottle at least a few hundred times, the name escapes me. I'll ask my wife tomorrow as it is very good water, had it delivered for a year with no problems, and all the neighbors around us use it too so it seemed that their truck was always in our neighborhood delivering water!

I'll post the name of the water company tomorrow after I talk with my wife.

We were in Banilad. Currently my wife is staying with her sister in Dumaguete, and using the same water company, but we have quite a few friends in Banilad, Bacong.

    Water Mill Water Company

    PatO,
The name of the bottled water company is the Water Mill. If I remember correctly it is located across the street from Duplamilco Hardware and the Shell gas station on the highway from to Duma to Bacong. The Water Mill is on the same side of the street as the motorcycle dealer which is on the corner opposite the small row of businesses facing the highway where the Water Mill is located.(confused yet? :D) You can go there and get set up for regular deliveries. 35P a bottle plus the initial deposit for each water bottle. Sorry, but my wife didn't have their phone number handy. I hope this helps. If not, feel free to PM me.

KdF, thanks. F'n Amazing, we went to Water Mill last March, we currently live almost around the corner from it. The guy working there said it would cost p85 or 100 for home delivery, I told him I was only paying 60 in Makati and I heard it is cheaper here, he then said 100 a bottle plus deposit. Don't know why he wanted to screw me around, Natures Springs is a couple of blocks from them, I took there screwing at p60 instead. I will go back tomorrow and ask what they charge and mention someone I know is paying 35, after he quotes me a prices. Thanks for the tip.

If they jack you around let me know. I have a good friend there who can call them and make sure you get the "deal". There are at least 7 apartments and houses in the neighborhood of Bacong who use them and we all pay 35P delivered. We were going through 5 bottles every two weeks. Even my wife who is in Duma now only pays 35P. Send your wife in there 1st, so they don't see you. Maybe they were trying to get you to pay the local "white tax"?

Why Natures Spring? Dump them and they will think twice! I've been paying P105 for 15 gal (3 bottles) of Reverse Osmosis treated water delivered for over 6 years. AKS is good here, although it takes a while to implant a memory of you into their heads. No one uses good old Excel to build and keep track of their customers locations and habits. All I do is say my name now and they say ok and hang up.

I have been drinking the tap water here in the city and out in Siaton for the last year or so with no ill effects. I thought we were drinking boiled water until I found my house helper filling our water pitchers from the tap and that he had been doing it all along.

Anyone know why we shouldn't be drinking the water? In the States they have found that most municipal water supplies are purer than a lot of the bottled stuff.

Dumaguete city water is probably ok. It comes from a volcano lake and just may be a bit heavy on sulphur compounds. I think the habit of not drinking the city water here in most of Phi is a good safe one. Dipolog kids get sick constantly from theirs.
