    where are some places u guys reccomend in buying a motorbike?
    i plan to get a honda wave or xrm..what are some things to look for when purchasing a motor?
    also what is considerd here to be high milage for a bike?thnks

    ya true i seen some bikes go thru hell..super reliable.

    If it's a used bike, maintainance is key. If the maintainance seems to have been kept up; I would then look to see if performance modifications were done. It's hard to tear up a honda wave, ect. that's in stock condition and had the recommended maintainance done. Honda knew that these things would sometimes transport entire families even though they weren't designed for it and restricted the engines so they wouldn't destroy themselves. Lastly, ask around for a trusted mechanic and have him inspect the potential purchase, and I'd pay him even if he said it wasn't necessary. Free advice may be worth no more than you paid for it, including mine. Robert K
