    Hi All

I need to cover an area of 25 metres x 12 metres. Primary requirement is to keep Sunlight out and ventilate, not a moisture barrier.

Have used Shade Cloth before, or more specifically, Dry Cloth. The Dry Cloth has a lot tighter weave than normal Shade Cloth in is often used to dry rice on, at least it is up north. Have used this before. Only place I found it on Luzon was in La Union where they use it for the fish pens. (Did not try manila)

Also want to look at some canvass options instead of the dry cloth and see if they will work ok weight wise and is price competitive

I may need someone with a sewing machine to add the edging, etc and eyelets so we can lace it on if anyone can recommend someone ..

It will be support on a set of 4" posts with GI Wire (or Stainless if I can get it at a reasonable price), strung between the posts and the biggest span will be 12.5 Metres with wires strung 3 metres apart to support for sag.

additionally, Is there anywhere in Dumaguete to buy GI Wire or Stainless Wire (3/8" preferred) turnbuckles and clamps

    Thanks in advance

Sorry Folks, So the questions are:

Does anyone know where I can source the following:

    Dry Cloth or Shade Cloth
Canvass (also to get someone to join it, they use heat I think)
Sewinfg Machine and or Sewer to add edges and eyelets
Gi or Stainless cable 3/8", Turnbuckles and clamps

    Thanks

Unitop has "shade cloth" on a bulk roll that looks to be 20'+ feet wide. It is by all the tarps. It does not look like shade cloth/screen, but more like strips of plastic woven/formed together. It may work for your application. Cable is in numerous hardware stores around town, but I never paid attention if it is stainless steel or galvanized. The same goes for cable clamps.

Just use ordinary wire/cable or even simply heavy Fishing line nylon, the Shading Fabric will be gone long before them, I would recommend fine Fishing Net which you can get at Zenith Marketing.
