⌛ HELP! Lost Dog in Zamboanguita

Sadly, I just gave one of our dogs away (which broke my heart). I checked in to see how he did his "first night away from home" and was told he jumped off the trike in Zambo.

If anyone lives in Zambo and sees an adorable, short-legged, golden haired dog with a fluffy, curly tail, please see if he responds to the name "Jake." He is wearing a blue nylon collar and is super friendly.

It breaks my heart that he is "on the streets" now, and I'd love to find him and bring him home. I will find him another new home where he can run free and enjoy life.

I am devastated to learn this... please, no jokes, OK?


Jake looks like a "mini-german shepherd," with a smoky black muzzle. He is such a good dog and deserves (and is used to) a better life than that of an "askal." I really appreciate your help here...

 

I was in Zambonguita for lunch with a korean family today for lunch. The stew was great..I really hope you found your dog already

we met each other at jim's/marlene's house blessing/ wedding aniversary and we brought you back home to dgte.
i hope soon to look around for you here when i am recovered a bit more.
i nearly killed a dog last week on the road in dgte but it's me who has the pain. the dog is still alive people said.

 

wasn't the story in the NegrosChronicle... about the dog who made a Negros-round - trip ? squeezed itself in the profile of a ceres liner tire and didn't pay?..

Hi, all -- Found out that Jake jumped ship in Batingel neighborhood, not in Zambo... The guys continued for awhile to look for him, but with no luck. :( I am doing my best to move on, as it's been nearly one month, but it still makes me sad.

He has a collar on, so I'm afraid that if/when he "visits" a home they will turn him away thinking he is owned by someone already. I hate to think of him starving out there.

JELLY! Thank you for your invitation (of course we remember you!!); I haven't been on here for a few weeks now and JUST learned of your accident (and then the additional six broken ribs!). Rick and I hope you are doing better, getting lots of rest and will be back on your feet soon. (Sent you a PM after the anniversary party, btw.)
