Death of Rusell Harvey

My name is Wade and I have been a friend and partner of Russell for about 22 years. I live in the states and haven't seen him for about 6years. I am deeply saddened by this accident but I also know that he was content with what he was doing which was helping out whereever he could. Thank you to all the people who made him feel comfortable in his new home and for your kind words. If you were close to him please contact me, I would like to know more about the good projects he was working on.

 

I've been informed that a second body has been recovered at the pier in Sibulan, it's suspected to be that of Narra, Mr.Harvey's Wife.

This is a tragedy for all of us here in Valencia.

 

I heard about this on my return from Cebu last night. What a terrible loss. I spoke with Narra on Monday when we were at the cafe for lunch.

Many of the lives this particular spillway has claimed over the years could easily have been saved with the installation of a simple guardrail. How many lives does a guardrail cost?

Previously in this thread a fellow member brought up that rather than someone questioning particulars, we'll just take this tragedy as a lesson learned for the future.

Maybe that might be a good idea.
