Same from me: Have a nice day !
Interesting for us to know why a person from Israel (or any other country) comes 'on board'.
Your name suggests a certain connection with Dauin maybe ?
Or just NOT and for that reason DauinANON ? Tell us more pls

Well, then we're nearly neighbours (our municipalities are !).
Hope to see you once you're back home.
Are you a Filipino, kind of an OFW in Israel, or simply there for a very temporary job ?
Yes, I agree with you......I am a quite nozy guy

Hi Dauinanon, my girlfriend is from Zamboanguita and we will be moving there soon. But my parents live in Israel and we will be visiting there too. What a special experience it must be for you to be in that magical country. There are at least 60,000 Filipinos in Israel and it seems like they are getting along very well there.

Where in Israel do you live?

Just a side note to those on this forum. Besides S.E. Asia and a few South American countries, I found out that Israel is the only Western/Modern country that allows Filipinos to receive an instant Tourist Visa upon arrival (I believe 3 months!). This is quite extraordinary considering the immensely high security Israel has. So in the event that you are looking for an interesting place to visit with your Filipina partner, it is a very easy and accessible country to visit.

I also recently learned: In 1947, the Philippines was the only Asian nation to support the partition resolution at the United Nations creating a Jewish State in Palestine.

Sweet & warm relationship from the start....

    Hey Dauinanon,

I live in the Philippines now, but I am familiar with Ramat Gan. My father's family is originally from Ramat Gan but now lives in Tel Aviv near the beach (Hayarkon & Frischman). And yes, all of us are Jewish - parents are Israeli, kids (me) raised in Los Angeles, California.

Eight years is a long time! I was pretty impressed with how fast Filipinos in Israel pick up Hebrew - much more than Americans speaking Tagolog or Visayan in the Philippines.

I don't know how to do 'private message' here, so write me at back2eden2005@yahoo.com and we can stay in touch & visit - either here in the Philippines or somewhere in the Holy Land.
