:o It is with some Hurt that I write this. Some will think is is trivial, I posted some time ago that I had an Iberian Lynx that needed a good home. No one has come forward to accept "ERIC" and as he is now 4 years old he has become troublesome. Azon and I knew this could be the case, like some breeds of dog, they can only have 1 (one) master, I am not there now and I thought wrongly, I could just move him, PatO was quite right, I have been denied permission to remove him from Spain. "ERIC" is one of only 36 male Calahonda Breed and is rare, Rarer that I could ever have imagined. as I have had him since 9 weeks old (thereabouts) I am sure you can understand my Hurt here. I have reluctantly therefore, decided to donate him to Seville Zoo in Spain, they have assured me that he will have a good home and try to breed from him. I hope that my friends and members will join me in wishing him a good Future, I wept a little as I sent the fax to the lawyers in Cadiz (Spain) earlier tonight to complete the transfer. I have more photos of "ERIC" through his life with us, if there is enough Interest, I will post in due course. Thank You for reading this Thread.

Looks like a bobcat with a Fu Man Chu. Did you really think they would let you ship him over here?

Beautiful animal. I certainly sympathize with your pain from losing him. I had to give away my schnauzer guy when I moved here. I still really miss him.Welcome to Facebook

He is such a handsome big guy! I felt so sad, "Eric" has to be separated from you.

Hi JP...as a cat (and all animals) person,i uderstand what you go through.. My gysy life style has meant living in many different countries and ,sadly, leaving many "friends" behind.
I am looking for a good home for "Osso" ,one of my 4 cats, and my favourite.. He is a neutered 4 year old who wants to be the king of the house (cat wise) and causes probs with, his mother, brother and sister. He is very clean, loving, obedient, friendly and loves to go for walks on the beach and woods..
If you at all interested,or know of a person wanting a cat companion, let me know..
    Thanks...Miguel

A lot of us have normal "human" emotions about things like this. I had to leave my very large (16 pound), jet black cat "Lagoon" in the US. He was 7 and I had him since birth. We were best friends also. Smartest cat I ever knew.
After arriving here, a couple of months later, I was lucky enough to get "Avatar" our gold tiger-striped cat when he was 4 weeks old. I now have a new friend......
    I understand your feelings completely.

Jack, sorry to hear about your disappointment. I wouldn't call it a loss because I think you found him the best home possible, given your circumstance.
Last year when I got divorced in Makati my ex took my Yorkie (yorkshire terrier) that I was very close to from birth to 10 years so I can empathize with you.
