⌛ NORSU 83rd Founders Day - Streetdancing Parade

The 83rd Founders Day of the Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) in Dumaguete just ended with a big Fireworks. This afternoon a flamboyant parade rolled through Dumaguete with wonderful costumes and great street dance performance.

14 groups from (9 from Dumaguete from the colleges at the main campus in Dumaguete and 5 from the external ones in Bais City, Guihulngan, Bayawan City, Siaton and Mabinay) danced through the afternoon heat under the theme:

“NORSU: Dancing towards achieving complete harmony between man and nature.”

One group was obviously influenced by one of the best movies 2010

 

I was a bit surprised to see "The Dane" participating in the contest... the red wig wasn't enough to hide the typical greenish a bit unhealthy looking SML-lover face from me...

Today I had the pleasure of watching the beautiful people of NORSU put on an absolutely entertaining and colorful parade; what a wonderful way to kick off the season holidays.:D But instead of me telling you about it, I will show you some of the pictures I took earlier today.
