    Thanks to Pat for starting this thread and everyone who contributed their excellent advice. I will also be looking for a bike when I move there in a few months and was set on a Skywave 400 but after reading your posts I realize there's a lot more to consider and, as you've pointed out, it really depends on your particular needs. Thanks again.

    Mike17 - it is all a matter of what you will use it for. Small scooter for only in-town, dirt bike for off road use or heavier sport bike (rocket bike) for highway speed and highway manuverability (as in my case). But the options are many as are the prices.
    And as an after-thought, those Chinese rocket bikes are selling like crazy here. In the past month I have seen 8 or 10 new ones in my area. They seem to be 150cc or 200cc models.
    It is my preference to have a hand-clutch, like USA bikes. I feel it is easier to use in stop and go traffic. That's one of the reasons for my choice of the Rouser 200.
