Hello to all posters and readers of this forum: I'm a Dutchman who, together with his Pinoy wife visited the City of the gentle People a few weeks ago. We spend 10 days looking around the place, looked at some houses for rent and checked out the products for sale in the supermarkets (Lee's Plaza and Robinson's), to reach the conclusion that we settle in Duma within the next 2.5 years - that's a promise, not a threat. Met some of the local foreigners while caring for a dry throat in Bogarts (Hi Rudy), and had some nice meals in Casablanca (thanks Guenther and Heinz). We left Duma for 10 days of R & R at Siquijor and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Coco Grove Resort and Lazi Beach Club - pictures will be posted shortly. Will post some more in due course. In the mean time, greetings from a cold and wet Europe. Vicmico
