Very quickly and I hope I don't have to explain myself further. I could not marry the mother of my child because she is married to a Filipino who ran off 11 years ago to work in Dubai. He has not see HIS son in 9 years but I have raised THAT boy for the last 5 years. The baby was wanted, planned for and conceived with all good intentions.

The reason for our eventual break up was financial irresponsibility on both sides. I am at fault because while abroad I gave her money to buy land for us to build on even though I know I can never own land. For the last 4 years I have been asking/demanding documentation and to know exactly where the land is but have received no answers. I have become angry and the fights have increased in verbal intensity over the years but the only one being physical is her. She attacked me twice all the while saying (in front of witnesses), "hit me back so I can have you deported, blacklisted from leaving or put in jail...etc. etc."

Now it is time to move on and do what I can to be part of my son's life while protecting myself both legally and physically from her & her PBMA cult member friends.

What you are experiencing on this forum is it is possible that the more personal information you put out on the forum the more sh*t you are likely to get from some. I imagine you are not the only person on the member list who have had similar breakups with kids involved. At this point, you may want to consider backing off and moving on to less controversial topics.

Not trying to be a smart-@ss....but I think you'd find it difficult to accomplish the above while living in the Philippines. At the very least...extremely expensive...That's why I suggested Vietnam. In and out of Philippines on tourist visas.. Vietnam is close by, low cost of living, not locked into living in PI and perhaps losing everything, son can travel there easy enough once old enough to do the trip...and better food there too...women there are ok LOL..just don't use those Taiwanese condoms...Laos might be a fall-back....

I actually prefer Filipino food and I plan to marry in The Philippines so condoms may or may not be necessary. When the time comes when the wife-to-be needs off BC pills the clip job will be in order for one of us.

WELLLL, JERRY! Welcome to the forum. I see it didn't take you long to get blasted here, kinda like so many places before, eh? If you ever do make it to Duma, give me a shout and we'll hook up at a Sari2 for a beer and stare at passing multicab tires!

    Jerry, welcome to our site.
We are from all over the world and therefore have a lot of different opinions on almost every topic. No two of us are the same. We are mostly foreigners in this country that we have moved to.
My opinions are mine, as yours should be yours.
No matter where you go in this world, there will be someone that does not agree with you about something.
As for me, I agree partially with you, only because I have had similar experiences, but notice that I said "partially".
Pick your topics and enjoy your stay here.

Thanks for the welcome. Like Larry said, I've been chastised & the like for expressing my opinions in other forums but I don't have a mean bone in my body. That I had a child with a woman I'm not married to has brought me grief from others even before I split with her so I'm just gonna keep on keepin' on as the saying goes.

I also lived in Texas for a while in Baytown, which was made up of 3 smaller cities or towns, one of which was Lynchburgh but I can't recall the third (besides Baytown). My in-laws when I was married to Texas girl also had a place in Oakland, TX, which is just to the south of I-10 @ the Schulenberg/La Grange exit. If you are from THAT region of Texas you would know that it was originally settled by mostl German Catholics moving from my home state of Pennsylvania (which by the way, has the distinction of having the largest number of defenders at the Alamo). That bit of info was garnered by counting the flags in the Alamo museum although I can't seem to verify it independently.

Baytown is just part of the ever expanding Houston. City limits touch each other. Lynchburg is known only because of the "Lynchburg ferry". Houston likes to boast that it is 4 million people in the city limits and 7 million if you include the surounding area (like Baytown).
And, I rode all over the State on my motor, so I know just about everywhere. 1000 miles (16000 km from east to west).
