Thanks Ron. I like you comment, "most people don't like to hear about our Happiness". I never thought about that but I think you're right. I got a kick out your finding Rhoody's old post on guys marrying young. I think he would have an updated opinion today.
You also mentioned what is at about Bacong, all the McD's are from there. Actually, I doubt there are more than 5 or 6 of us in Bacong, would like to know. But there is absolutely nothing in Bacong. In fact it is the smallest municipality in Negros Oriental. The saving grace is it will only take less than 15 min to the Mall once the hiway is completed. But the air is clean and most beaches are ok to swim and fish in. Guys catch large Tanigue and you can buy it on the street. Suburbia...

Hey Pat. Regardless of opinions, keep shining.

There is a particularly powerful book available to all, and one small phrase in it tells you "do not hide your light under a bushel".

Thank you my friend. I will have a look at National Book Store for your suggested reading. Cheers

would love to see photos of the house when it's finished. Regarding the cows and roosters/chickens, the same style of zoning/regulations are here in Hawaii. A gated community/development is the only way to insure a quiet place unless you buy 20-30 acres and separate your house from any of the the property lines......but a car up on concrete blocks, a vegetable garden as your yard instead of landscaping, can all happen next door to a million dollar house.

Yes it is so sad that people will spend millions on land and a house and not really live in it or worse let our natural resources go unused all for vanity.

It is probably better to come here and accept what is the way of life rather than try and change it, to do otherwise leads to so much disappointment. I love chickens running through the yard, pigs in the pen, ducks on the porch. That for me is civilization and I do not have problems with it.

Yes that is civilization as you can observe in cartoons.
In the Philippines they keep a dog on a chain 24/7 that is barking half of the day out of misery.
    The same with cock farms.
