We seem to assume, and probably rightly so, that all foreigners living in Duma are males married to Filipina. Just wondering.....any Pinoy married to a foreigner lady?
Seen One! UJ! a couple of weeks ago we were in Scoobies, there was a middle aged Pinoy with what I think was an Australian blond haired lady of about mid 30's, Just sat having lunch as we were. I mentioned your post to my Wife and she tells me that they are Quite regular there, they sit up the top end by the coffee counter. My sister-in-law tells us that she has seen a Ginger haired foreign woman and a pinoy quite often in Lee Plaza coffee hall. seems that there are one or two about. I will definitely keep my eyes open and let you know if i see or hear of more. Jack P.
I know at least 5 long-nose western ladies living in Dumaguete married to Pinoy. Also other Asian ladies married to to local men is not that uncommon.
On my first visit to PI, I travelled with my Filipino work-mate and his white South African wife. both met in UK......JB

I've got the feeling that if a young pinoy marries an older western lady, he's perceived as a smart geezer, while if the same was done by a pinay, young lady married to westerner old long nose, she would be perceived as a slut gold digger. I met a married couple on a boat going to Bohol 5 yrs ago, He was from Bacolod orginally. They were in PI on vacation from the US.
