Does anyone know of a Dgte store that sells very good knifes that can be used for slicing the skin off of fish and slicing sashimi, and secondly what is the best knife to use to cut frozen fish and beef? Presently I am using a stainless steel saw. Thanks

PatO - FYI, I have carried a CRKT (Columbia River Knife and Tool) pocket knife for years and had several folding and non-folding hunters also. A great knife, but pricey. My 3" pocket folder was about $90.00USD A good non-folding hunter is around $150.00USD. I left them all in the US.
One day I was in Plaza Fair and I saw a 2.5" folder with a CRKT logo (mountains with CRKT) on it for only 450 pesos. I could not believe it. Of course I bought it. Just for curiosity, when I got home I looked on the CRKT website. NO model like that. Again, just for curiosity, I sent them a picture and asked them to identify the model. The reply was the shortest email in the world. "Our Logo is illegally used on low quality knives throughout the Asian countries".
I guess there is nothing that can't or won't be counterfitted.

Ron, I am absolutely shocked that there are knockoffs for sale in the Philippines. I just can't believe it. Are you sure you went to the correct website. You must be making a mistake! lol

If you're in Manila try Hahn store in SM Mega Mall. They sell genuine Solingen and other German knives.
