⌛ Flores family in Dumaguete

Hello dumagueteinfo.com! I am Jane and my grandmother is a Flores (her mother is a Flores). I was told (by my aunt) that my great grandmother is from the known Flores clan in Dumaguete. She added that my great grandma (the Flores) was Spanish (or maybe a mestiza)? Everything that I know about my grandmother are just passed down, I never met her, nor her closest relatives. I was really happy when I found this forum because I read a lot about the Flores family. My grandmother might or might not be a member, but I would like to ask some info about this clan? Just everything you know about them, their history, if some of you might be a member, or just everything you know. I am only 20 and have never been to Dumaguete. I am very thirsty about my family's history. Hope you could share! Thanks everyone.

I doubt if your grandmother is a member of this forum... There are more than likely dozens of families with the name of Flores in and around Dumaguete btw.

Jane08, "Flores" is pretty much the Hispanic equivalent of Smith or Jones.
And don't be surprised if every Flores you contact here claims to be the relative you're looking for.

 

Flores is a big clan in Dumaguete, they are one of the old families.I know some of them, but unfortunately I have no email contact numbers.
