    Hi,

    I will be moving to this area in the new year - 2011-

    I have been to Philippines before and know what to expect and I am very happy to integrate with the local community.

    My first priority is to arrange a place to stay!!!
    Therefore I would appreciate practical advice on arranging accomodation there??

    1 or 2 bed is ok - as I am coming on my own!!

    That leads on to my 2nd priority--I am confident to find a GF/Wife to be at my side. Any introductions will be accepted and treated with respect.

    Welcome. I am moving out of my rental house tomorrow, 2 bedroom 2 bath, small house but 384 sq mtr lot. 2 aircons, fenced gated yard. If interested, send me a private message for the landlord's contact detail. Have a safe trip and hopefully you will enjoy it here as much as most of us do.

    Hi,
    Me and my wife (both americans) will be moving to Dumaguete area in april 2011. We living in Iloilo some years ago. Retirement time is here. So here we come.

    Looking for 2 bedroom house or apartment to rent.

    Anyone know if a person ona tourist visa can open a bank account in Dumagete? Need to have money wire tranfered from US.
