I had to order Cignal or Dream satellite for tv, no other current choices. We selected Cignal because the have 10 HD channels. 2nd night installed, the box craps out right before the NY 4 day weekend. On the 5th day with no tv, Cignal comes out and confirms the box is dead. They then said they have no inventory of boxes and couldn't tell me when one will arrive. I also had to order a 2nd dish and box for the 2nd tv because they also didn't have the switch in inventory anywhere to run 2 boxes off the same dish, but as I got their last box they had there wasn't another box to go with the 2nd dish. Hmmm, maybe I once again made a mistake with my move. Also, I am using SmartBro dial up which is verrrrrrry slow, can't get a regular internet connection even though I am only 4 blocks off the hiway. Welcome to the boondocks PatO:eek:

PatO my friend, this is "the price we pay" for our paradise.
Many years (6 or 7) ago, I called Directv in Houston and said I wanted satellite for 3 sets. In about 2 hours, the truck pulled up, installed a dish for 4 sets, ran the cables, installed and checked everything, took my credit card number and was gone in about 3 hours.
    This IS a different world.
(read my thread "A total scam")

I havnt been able to buy a loaf of bread at robinsons or lee plaza since X-mas and I DONT LIKE THE COMMON FIBERLESS WHITE STUFF EVERYWHERE.I'm not like the french with their bread and the revolution there over having to "eat cake" rather than proper bread but i'm used to bread being the staple that is as much social backbone as gasoline,oh well I found a compromise wheat loaf but its not daily available..

    Brainwashed on tv

Most U.S. brats like me were brought up watching tv like The Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid, and watching Annette grow boobs on the Micky Mouse Club, we are brainwashed like USMC boot camp. My alternative here is listening to the cows, goats, roosters, horses, dogs, crickets else starting happy hour when I wake up in the morning. I have some dvd's that I swear I have seen over 100 times, probably be 200 by the time Cignal gets their s__t together. What is your alternative? Cheers
