    Stating the obvious

Of course one would want to buy a multi-cab to suit their needs. I only made a suggestion. Thanks for stating the obvious! Responses such as yours is why many people hesitate to write anything on this board.

Also, I priced my vehicle at a dealer for 217,000 for the same configuration from the rebuilder (Nitos) for 150,000. Why would I want to pay more at a dealer. Hmmm....... Nitos stood behind their 30-day warranty and repaired things pointed out to them with no delay. I got good service and a good price.

look for the wagon r model, 4cyl, auto, w/turbo. all the power u need. the multi cab version has a 3 cyl engine mounted under drivers seat or in rear. very underpowered and dont think about using the air-con..Many are carburated instead of fuel injection. The 4 cyl gets better mileage

Wanted: Multicab 4X4 lifted, big tires

    Hello All,

I have a need for a multicab pickup. Needs to be lifted to facilitate bigger rough terrain tires. Don't need a fancy fiberglass cover, or back seats. Even if not lifted or with the tires I want, I still might be interested if the price is right. Just needs to be 4X4. I can have it lifted and add tires myself. Anyone know of any?

Also, I'm seeing ads that talk about "ordinary" others stating "scrum". What is the difference?

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Multi-cab pickup for all terrain - no worries

Get yourself over to Mandaue next to Cebu City, close to the SM mall, and visit Nitos. They have a large selection of makes and models to choose from including 4x4, rough terrain vehicles. You can get one off their lot or have it custom built. BTW, my multi-cab took 5 weeks to build.

Thanks Lukester. I'm wondering what price to expect. I can get one here in Dgte. already lifted, rough terrain tires and decent paint for P95,000. However, I still don't know the difference between what they call a regular, and a scrum. Any idea's?

    Scrum engine

I have no idea of the price range for a lifted pickup made for rough terrain since I wasn't in the market for one. Of course, the price will vary dependent on what you get in the package. P95,000 for a freshly rebuilt unit sounds cheap.

As far as I know, a scrum engine is a higher performance engine with 12 values, EFI, and a turbo. I have this in my van, and it has lots of power for a 660cc, 3 cylinder engine even with the air-con on.

    good mechanic named Timmy

can someone give me an idea where timmy is located on the valencia road? what side of the road? how far up the road? cross road names? mother's maiden name : )

and or... any recommendations for mechanic shops in duma for a suzuki van? the mechanics working in the few shops i've been in are all kids and couldn't possibly have much experience which just might be the reason why a person has to go back several times to get it (kinda) fixed : /

    thxs...
    norm : ))~

kelpguy, SteveB might still be vacationing back home in Canada but should be back here soon, if he hasn't arrived yet. I'm sure he will give you directions to Timmy's.
