    I have posted on here before but for some unknown reason it did'nt register, however here we are again. I am British married to a Filipina, the best thing that ever happened to me in my 75 years! Her name is Andrita and her home town is Binalbagan, Canlaon City, we were married in Dumaguete in October 2004 at the Town Hall, and had our reception dinner at Chin Long restuarant, Roxas Boulevard, wow, what a luverly dinner! I have been married twice before to English women, both of whom cheated on me and found other men, with my Filipina Andrita wife I know this will never happen, cos on the inside of my wedding is printed ANDRITA and on the inside of her wedding ring is printed CHARLIE, this does'nt happen in the UK! Unfortunatly, following a hysterectomy operation she has devoloped a hernia and this is worrying me, cos she now has to have another operation, God Bless Her! I first met Andrita she was working as a cook in an Eatery in Locsin Street, after I took her away to a rented apartment at Marcy's Compound, the Eatery closed down a short while later cos they lost their Chef (cook)! This is a love story between an Englishman and a Filipina and there is a lot more to tell, if you want more then let me know.     You don't say if you intend to return to Dgte, I guess retired and with the unfortunate Health problems of your wife, maybe you are better situated just at this time. However, I do hope all goes well for you both, look forward to your postings and responces.

    My Thanks to Jack P and Rhoody for your response! Since 2005 we have been back to Dumaguete 6 times and always stay at The Royal Suite Inn. One of our favorite places is Scooby's just opposite LeePlaza, (I wonder if our friendly lady behind the counter will remember us), its some time ago now that we were there, April 2008, but to quote General Macarther's words of many years ago,'I shall Return'.
