Hi I'm a new member and I'm from Singapore.

I'm a student and my school will be conducting a mission trip to Dumaguete.

Just wondering which places are known to missionaries and what do they usually do there?

    Thanks!

Contact Calvary Chapel Dumaguete. They reply to emails. They are very active in missionary work in the Philippines and in Thailand.

There are ministries here that have feeding programs for children, there may be medical missions etc. More information needed as to what you want to do, how many people are coming with you etc.

New Life Orphanage is across the street from my house, some kind of a ministry support from the US. Bring about 100 candy bars and tell the kids to stop ringing my d*mn door bell!

    Ringing Your Bell?

    Pat,
I think I will sneak down there about 01:00 and ring your BELL. Is that the same as jerking your chain?

You could try Little Children of the Philippines. They're very active within Dumaguete. Maybe serving around 500 families. I don't have the contact information, but google would provide it.

Jim, at 0100, my snoring is louder than the bell. Just the same, watch out for the punji sticks... plus there is now a big cow pie in front of the bell.
