    % Game!

 Getting the Money is Good Enough for me. If we waited for the right rate we may just lose all.

    Bon chance to you newbie!

let me get this straight, you support the black market money changers and you want justice from the Philippine justice system for issues you've posted previously. I think I see your logic here.

Are you that sure you have not been handed counterfeit bills? Just because you do the exchange with them in a bank lobby is not going to change that. I guess the day you get picked up by a revenue officer will be a funny one for everyone but you. (it may be rare but it can happen.)

If you cannot see the big picture you will never be enlightened.

    Atm!

 Guys & Gals, this is why I always use the ATM. maybe only 10.000 php at a time BUT it seems safer to me. ( OH! yes I know some bills maybe counterfeit) That is the way of the world.

    Just my 5 cents worth!

    Exchanging for Pesos

Where should I exchange my money for pesos?Should I exchange my Chinese RMB for pesos here at my Chinese bank in Shanghai or exchange RMB for pesos at the airport either before I leave Shanghai or when I get to Cebu or Manila?Should I exchange the Chinese RMB for American USD first and then do the final exchange?......Jimmy in Shanghai........jlewellen2003@yahoo.com

    Cash!

jimmy, unless you want to be a walking ATM for the Bad Boys don't even think about it. Just rebank your money and use ATM's like the rest of us. Bank rate is pretty good, why pay commisions twice and it is far safer. I guess you must know that there is a limit to the amount of hard Cash you can bring into PI. Please re-think this issue, Should you get caught with an amount over this limit there could be a chance you will loose all. In this modern age there is no need to carry large amounts of money around the PI.

    Re-Bank?

Jack-Excuse my ignorance but what do you mean by re-bank my money?I dont have an account in a PI bank yet so I cant transfer my funds here to there.I will have about 10K to put in the bank there when I get to PI.Do I just change my Chinese RMB here at my bank or airport for US dollars or pesos and then just put it in a bank when I get there? Please reply in my personal email. and be more explicit......Thanks.....Shanghai Jimmy......jlewellen2003@yahoo.com
