⌛ Valentines Day in Dumaguete

I know some prefer the old tradition for Valentines Day.
no I don't mean that flower thingy...

but that is really outdated and we should think about a nice little gift for our loved ones...

or being creative and surprise her with a nice card...

but of course we can give the special day in the Hands of others and go for a nice dinner.

Several Restaurants in Dumaguete offer a set-menu for that day with some specials for the ladies and/or livemusic. The last years I was in Edelweiss, Casablanca and LaBaz/Hayahay and each was worth the pesos spend.

I am still undecided where to go this year, but should make a reservation soon. any more nice options?

It is not about were we are on Valentines Day, it is about how we spend the day and eve together......we call it ROMANCE! It can be on a beach, out in the country, take a boat trip, anywere..... holding hands and feel happiness, That is a Valentine Day Romance!

Are you stating that you are Mr. Valentine 365 days a year? You must be the most Romantic person on this planet! Or is it an oxymorron?

We are romantic most every day, but Valentine's days is special for me and my husband..... remembering the past 364 good days of the year.

no hard feelings,but if going to the beach, holding hands is something special for you on Valentines it is great for you, for me it is normal thing in a relationship... so as long that is already great for you and dont have any suggestions why you just don't keep quiet ...

anyway, as it seems there is not much coming from that corner, i grasped my loved ones and got them to Bohol and while the 2 little ones chasing Tarsiers and running up and down the chocolate hills to be really tired, some others organizing a great BBQ this evening at the beach having some sand around the toes and enjoying life ... not more or less romantic than each other day.. just something different

and again, I don't need a calendar telling me today you need to buy flowers or eat turkey or give kids in stupid costumes candies etc ...

 

Bethel always cooks up something every Valentine's day but it is usually something like buffet---you can check out El Camino for some evening of fun.
