thank you for all your advise guys i apreciate it so much i think 100k i agree is not enough to start a buisness i think for the moment ill just keep it and maybe a small store only and make it build more in the future, then in the future i can start a bigger buisness, hopefully it will work, honestly 100k is the only money i have thats why i ask if someone can give me an idea to build my 100k more cause i dont have a source of income on the moment,i am thinking now to have a small barber shop in the city and i suppose anyone can tell me how much is the capital for a barber shop?

    A piece of string!

 Tall question krian, That is like asking how long is a piece of string. k100 will not get you a franchise proper any where. If you are thinking of just a food cart business, please do some homework, most of the street vending is controlled and stepping on the toes of some people may not be good. I am not to sure if you will get a license though, as they are trying to do away with Street food. (shame as some of it is quite good) Whatever my friend, sound it all out first before handing over cash for a stall that may belong to someone else. not Doom and Gloom from Jack here, bin there, and got stung.:o just my 5c of advice.

hi krian...maybe u should start knowing what u like most and where you're good at. From there you will know what business that will work for u. Having a business is not all about money. It's like building your dreams where u can show your best. Loving it.. means you wouldn't let your hard work gone to waste...and there goes your money!

    Pedicab

Hi there Krian, I think about 100K Peso could buy you a new or almost new Pedicab (Tricycle). If you do, You can rent it out and maybe earn as much as 200 Peso a day. Seems like a good idea to me. Thx. Good luck.

My wife wanted to help her family without making them a charity case....stripping them of their pride and dignity.... so she bought them two pedicabs....(100K @ )..... the average 1 K @ night per cab...... now you need to save a slush fund for maintenance and renewing the annual license ( P 5000 ).... but it is a modest income....
If you rent the cabs that would be cut in half of course....AND you need to have drivers you can trust.... you wont get rich but it is a modest income

The big profits are made from foreigners.... that requires the driver speak English..... and know how to "service" foreigners..... foreigners will tip generously if they are treated well.... but if they are ripped off or feel they are being ripped off ....they do not tip and will get a different cab....never say "How much will you pay me?".... have a reasonable price.....and do not assume the foreigner does not know the the real price.....

The new mayor has promised to reduce the number of pedicabs.... so I do not know what or how this will change the situation

Um. No way have blue chip stocks consistently earned 10% or more per year. Suggest you recheck your source on that one.

Since we don't know if we're talking about P100,000 or $100,000, we're kind of shooting in the dark. If Pesos, then your options are really limited to a very small operation. Having owned and managed MANY restaurants in the States, I concur with others above who advise against it. Most people here simply DO NOT UNDERSTAND what it takes to do it well. Even the well known chains here are known for giving their customers food poisoning!! I imagine that the street vendors are even worse.

Some of the local banks are paying good interest rates. If you deposit only in government insured accounts, and don't deposit too much with any one bank, you can actually earn a good rate of return.

I've tried for many years to come up with a business idea here in the PI that would seem to promise good return for a small investment. Every time I get an idea and research it a little I find someone beat me too it. The Philippines is truly a free enterprise economy once you get past the huge corporations controlling significant sectors of business.

Pizza franchise is good option. Pizza is loved at all the places. I think the idea will.

Anyways, good luck from my side also.
