⌛ Soccer! For those interested.

I agree.... and we have many friends and we all see alot of sparks flying when we watch the real Football..... what you call Soccer..... The rest of the world calls it Football too...... American Football is more like handball and not to be compared in my opinion. The beauty we see when we watch real Football doesn't exist in American Football....
Football, what you call soccer is the biggest sport in the world. No Doubts!

Just a clarification about what real Football is..... nothing else.

A lot of factual information there. But I wish someone would proof-read these articles before they are published. Against the "Rules of Soccer," the meeting at the Freemason's Tavern was in October 1863, and not in 1963 as published. Only a century difference.

A real Soccer story!

Here is a Soccer story from Wikipedia.....

Soccer (May 17, 1988 - June 26, 2001) was a Jack Russell terrier dog actor. A veteran of many television commercials for companies like Nike Athletics and Mighty Dog dog food, he became famous portraying the talking dog Wishbone in the PBS TV series of the same name. Chosen from out of more than 100 dogs who auditioned for the role, Soccer appeared in almost every episode of the show during its 1995-1998 run. Soccer also guest starred in an 1997 episode of Newton's Apple The episode was titled Pet Special. He lived with his trainer, Jackie Kaptan, on the Plano, Texas ranch where the Wishbone series was filmed. Soccer died on June 26, 2001 of natural causes.

Real "FOOTBALL"... is played using your feet and if touching the ball with your hands or arms there is a penalty..... The game is going on for 2x45 minutes with minimum stopage. The head can also be used in Football and that helps. Tough guys play Real Football...not a game for "Sissys"

American "FOOTBALL"..... a game where they hardly ever use the feets. Who knows what they use.... feet, hands and what more, Oh running is important.
They have more braking time than playing time...... they cover their heads with big helmets and have funny looking painting in their faces. They also were upper body protectors which make them look big and clumpsy. Their pants are tight and shiny and really shows there asses and legs, some better than others. Sensative sexy big looking guys, acting as tough guys..but, but.
The funiest thing is the ball, oval in shape with a funny spin..... Am. Fotball is Rugby like! Can you imagine playing golf or tennis with an oval ball?????
One of the most famoeus players was O.J. Simpson....
now more fameous than ever.... for other reasons....what a Sucker he was!

Soccer is just a word invented to separate Real Football from American Football to the best of my understanding....used in USA and Canada only.

Soccer also means Sugar in some european countries, spelled Socker!

One time a knew a real Soccer player...what a 'Sucker" he was.... he really sucked.

Another thing is "TOUCH DOWN", when it happends the player start dancing and jumping, with funny steps as if they were intoxicated with kerasine, and than FINALLY they can use their feet, to kick the ball in between something that looks like the Twin Tower in New York. What a game!

Amusing Story! SOCCER!

Benjamin, Whilst I read with interest, you piece about the dog Actor, You Obviously did NOT read the article I posted about FOOTBALL. I will reiterate for you! FOOTBALL IS the Game, It is split into 2 groups, SOCCER & RUGBY. There is only 1 (ONE) Soccer, Totally played with the feet.(excepting head and chest) RUGBY is another game That bears no resemblance at all. NOW! American rules, Australian rules, Irish rules all come in to their own BUT based on the GAME Of Rugby. I have a good friend called "GOOGLE" check it out, There is no Rugby Like game, Rugby, Union & League are a game, all others are a spin off. Neither the US or Australia are anyway near old enough to accept or even begin to think anything other. Check it out!
