Rayjen, now you are seeing all of the "possibles" from all of us. Almost nothing here goes as planned. We (they) work on "island time" here. My hitch was the judge suddenly got called to Manila, we re-scheduled for the Mayor, who suddenly got called to go somewhere and ended up with the vice-mayor performing our wedding. Plans must be very "fluid" here.
Again, the most congrats on your upcoming wedding. Don't forget us after it is all over. Please stay in touch.

Hi ronv8917, whilst we feel we have all bases covered I'll be amazed if everything works like clockwork. I'm kind of expecting to run into a problem & just hoping we will be able to resolve it in such a short time scale.

    Rayjen's Marriage??

Rayjen, can you share if your wedding went as planned? Anyone know or hear from Rayjen? He had a well-planned but extremely tight schedule (I think 16 days) to do the deed. Hope he made it, would really enjoy a report back of his experience to update our marriage in Dgte posts.

If it isn't forever, it sure seems like it sometimes.

Ask your asawa first before you buy, sometimes the dress clothes for a wedding are rented en-mass for the entire family entourage.

    Mission accomplished 16 days!

Hi all, i arrived in Cebu on sat 12,feb & we married on sat 26,feb.I changed my cni at the British consulate on mon 14,feb, had marriage seminar in dmgte city on tue 15,feb & applied for licence. waited 10 days & got the licence on fri 25, feb, we brought it to registra in dauin & received licence sat morning & were married in the afternoon at a resort called private residence which I can highly recommend. We had around 40 guests including my 16 yr old son who flew out for a week. He absolutly loved it. We flew back to London on mon 28,feb leaving my wife behind to apply for settlement visa. Hopefully it won't take to long, she needs to get name on passport changed, get marriage cert from nso, get English language test cert & then apply.
