Could someone maybe give some prices they pay locally ? In March 2011.

    Eggs ?
    SM ( Beer ) ?
    Packet noodles ?
    Bread ?
    Rice ?
    Milk ( If available ) ?
    Chicken ?
    Breakfast out ?
    Fruit in season ?
    Fish ?

I realise a very generalised list but may be of help to know. With thanks
    Take care all.

gosh...prices found at the price tags at any supermarket whether its a small or big supermarket... unless you buy it at wet market, you wont see any price tags specially fish and meat.

Tinned sardines 155 grams 11.2 peso
Tinned tuna flakes in brine 180 grams 27.5 peso
Sweet corn - tinned and on the cob readily available. Not too sure of the price but I believe a small tin is about 30 peso.
Prices are taken from Robinsons, but may be cheaper elsewhere.

Sorry for my novice question, but what is bodega and "from truck"? Currently I pay 492 for a 24*0.33 case. Almost hundred pesos more. The difference is very reasonable considering my love for the beer))

Bodegaprice is the price that stores are paying to the delivery truck of San Miguel beer.
Some stores are buying in volume (at least 15 cases at a time) and get a discount so they can sell the beer (but also softdrinks) at the same price as the delivery truck.
Charlie Yee in the market of Bacong is selling drinks at bodegaprice.
Also any truck of San Miguel, Coca Cola or Pepsi will sell you at bodegaprice.
Just put an empty case in your car, and if you see a truck stop and buy.
You can also buy if you don't have empty's but just pay for the deposit (i think 180 pesos for beer, but not sure)
If you see a delivery truck you may also ask them what store is selling at bodegaprice near to your house.
